This project critiques the digital world and its influence on our identity. As I’ve grown older, I’ve noticed how hard it is to live in the moment while feeling pressured to maintain a virtual persona. This internal conflict inspired me to express my perspective through digital art.
Using TouchDesigner and a Kinect camera, I designed seven effects that distorted reflections to resemble how we might appear in the digital realm—glitched, fragmented, and far removed from reality. These visuals became posters, asking the essential question:
How real am I?
