Contrasts 2

61st Classical Music Festival
About

This project presents a poster series for the 61st Classical Music Festival, titled Kontrasty, hosted at the Baltic Philharmonic. The concept explores the intersection of digital art and music, inspired by the transformative power of pixels and gradients. This edition is dedicated to the memory of Andrej Szwalbe, a key figure in supporting the Philharmonic, with his face subtly emerging from a pixelated texture, symbolizing his lasting influence on the institution.

Meaningful Vision

Building on the digital aesthetic, the design emphasizes contrasts between soft gradients and sharp pixel edges, reflecting the dualities inherent in classical music—softness versus precision, harmony versus tension. The use of pink and green tones creates a striking visual tension, representing the vibrancy and evolution of music in the modern age. The design embodies the intersection of technology and tradition, much like the music itself, where both the past and future resonate in harmony.
