Contrasts

Music Festival

About

This project presents a poster series for the 62nd Classical Music Festival, titled Kontrasty, hosted at the Baltic Philharmonic. The concept draws inspiration from Japanese minimalism, blending simplicity and elegance to reflect the contrasting yet harmonious nature of the festival’s program.

Establishing meaningful vision

Guided by the aesthetic principles of renowned designer Kazumasa Nagai, I aimed to create visuals that embody balance, focus, and refinement. The recurring use of geometric forms and clean lines emphasizes the essence of music as both structured and emotive. The dynamic interplay of light and shadow evokes contrasts central to the festival’s theme, while maintaining a modern, sophisticated design language.
